I can't stop thinking about this whole Myspace / Realtor thing. What better way to find strange internet love and sell a house - all on the same site. Shouldn't these realtors be showing houses instead of showing themselves?

Well, quite honestly, before Realtors, we are also "people" that live lives when we are not selling houses. Let's face it, marketing is 90% of the job while (undo to popular belief) showing houses is on average, 10% of the position. If we don't market ourselves, there are no houses to show. ;-) I can speak for everyone, but "I" personally would feel more comfortable deciding on the largest purchase of my life if I could put a name with a face, and know a little bit about the person that would be "representing" me. Let's face it...your "friends" on myspace are your sphere of influence... and what better way to advertise than to be in the constant eye of people that already know you, your ethics and are more willing to refer you to others.
